Project #1- New 0.2 MGD Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) MBR Facility

REC was the Prime Engineer on a design build project for Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) Small Communities Division. Siemens Water Technologies teamed with REC and Mid Eastern Builders to furnish equipment and install a 0.2 MGD MBR package plant in 9 Months that would meet the TN= 3 mg/l and TP = 0.3 mg/l.  The project consisted of the following services:

• QC/QA of all process calculations
• BioWIN Modeling
• DEQ Permitting (PAE document)
• Civil, Mechanical, Structural and Electrical Engineering
• Construction Observation and Engineering Services
• Start up and Operations Assistance.
